Protection of personal data is an important matter for Graten Consultancy. This Clarification Text has been prepared in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”, “Law”) and related secondary legislation, for the purpose of informing you about the procedures and principles regarding the processing of personal data by Graten (referred to as “Graten” and/or “Company” in this clarification text), “Graten” and/or "Company” located at “Address”, in its capacity as the data controller.

1. Personal Data Processed and Purpose of Processing

Your personal data (“Personal Data”) listed below are processed within the scope of the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law for the purposes of (a) contacting you, (b) responding to your requests and questions, (c) providing information about our services, (d) fulfilling communication processes, and (e) fulfilling our legal obligations: (a) Sizlerle iletişime geçebilmemiz, (b) Taleplerinize ve sorularınıza yanıt verebilmemiz, (c) Hizmetlerimize ilişkin bilgilendirme yapılması, (d) İletişim süreçlerinin yerine getirilmesi ve (e) Hukuki yükümlülüklerimizin yerine getirilmesi amaçlarıyla işlenmektedir:

• Identity data: Your name and surname
• Contact data: Your email address and phone number
• Professional experience: The name of the company/brand you work for
• Other data: Your service preference and the content of the message, if you choose to provide one

2. To Whom and For What Purpose Your Personal Data Can Be Transferred

Your personal data, Kanun’un 8. ve 9. maddelerinde belirtilen kişisel veri işleme şartları ve amaçları çerçevesinde, yukarıda belirtilen işleme amaçlarıyla aynı amaçlarla Şirket’in iş ortakları ve hizmet aldıkları üçüncü taraflar ile paylaşılabilir, yurt içinde bulunan Your data may also be stored the personal data processing conditions and purposes set forth in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law. Your data may also be stored on domestic servers, databases, and digital platforms (including suppliers that provide server, database, and/or digital platform services), and may be shared with authorized institutions and organizations to the extent necessary to fulfill requests. 

3. Method and Legal Basis of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data are collected electronically via the information you provide through the form on our website, based on the legal grounds of fulfillment of a contract potentially established with our Company, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interest, and your explicit consent, in accordance with the personal data processing conditions set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.

4. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to apply to Graten and:

1. Learn whether your personal data is processed,
2. Request information if your personal data has been processed,
3. Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in line with that purpose,
4. Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred within the country or abroad,
5. Request the correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
6. Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons requiring processing no longer exist, subject to the principles of purpose, duration, and legitimacy,
7. Request that the correction or deletion/destruction operations be notified to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
8. Object to a result that is against you arising from the analysis of your personal data exclusively through automated systems,
9. Request compensation if you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

Your requests will be answered within a maximum of thirty (30) days in accordance with the Law. If the information or documents you provide are incomplete or unclear, we may contact you to request clarification or correction in order to process your request. While it is principally free of charge to make such a request, Graten reserves the right to charge a fee based on the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Authority.
